Elm Class try their hand at bird ringing!
Earlier this week Elm Class spent a really interesting afternoon learning all about bird ringing.
The children were amazed by process and learnt how to tell the gender and age of a bird. They also found out about the importance of ringing the birds to track the movement, population and life-span of different species.
A big thank you to Marches Academy Trust Trustee, Stuart Cowper and Shrewsbury School.
