Empathy
We understand, listen and care.
At Longlands, relationships matter. Empathy means learning to understand the experiences, viewpoints and needs of other people. Children learn to listen carefully, communicate respectfully, show kindness and recognise that another person’s experience may be different from their own. Our curriculum gives pupils opportunities to encounter different lives, cultures, experiences and perspectives.
